Fundraising
The Denton Quilt Guild has many fundraising activities in order to fund our programs. Our Raffle Quilt fundraiser is a project that is often worked on by several members of the guild. Once a quilt is completed, it travels to other guilds and city functions to promote the sale of raffle tickets. The guild will also be participating in the Alternative Gifts Fair November 1, 2, & 3, 2024, which is open to the general public and includes items for sale. These items are handmade and donated by our members throughout the year. Be sure to visit the DQG table at this shared event at FUMC of Denton! Additional fundraisers have included surplus fabric sales, selling guild pins, t-shirts/sweatshirts, and tote bags, publication and sale of a guild cookbook, an artisan's market, silent auctions, and garage sales.
