Candy Bag Zipper Pouch

Cost: $15 ($5 for facility use and $10 for some supplies I provide)

You bring:

– Candy bag – empty it CAREFULLY or bring it full 😛- don’t tear it!! Use scissors to retain as much of the bag as possible. Size should not be smaller than about 8” by 8” (hard to turn) and not be larger than about 12” by 12” (takes too long to quilt for this class)

– Coordinating fabric for inside – two pieces about 2 inches larger than bag on all sides

– Basic zipper (nothing fancy) – at least an inch longer than the part of the candy bag that will be the top

– Basic sewing items – machine, thread, rotary cutter, mat, scissors

– A teflon foot for your machine is nice, but not required

I’ll provide:

• Iron on vinyl

• Iron on fleece

• Extra candy bags and zippers in case they are needed
