Rhonda Dort is a third-generation quilter from the Houston, Texas area who is best known for combining traditional quilting with vintage linens, lace, embroidery, crochet, and other antique textiles. Rather than making reproduction antique quilts, she often creates what she describes as “saving” or “giving a second chance” to worn vintage pieces by repairing and embellishing them artistically.
